Each generation has a particular toy that?

This generation has Freaky Flickers

Each generation has a particular toy that defines them.  From dolls unearthed in prehistoric archeological sites to the present generation of high-tech toys, children all over the world enjoyed their childhood playing with them. Contemporary toys are developed to incorporate learning and development of the child. In many ways, toys provide immense joy among children worldwide.

Dolls of all types figured in history. Ancient Egyptian children played with dolls made from stone, pottery and wood. Ancient Roman children played with dolls made from wax or terracotta. Ancient Greek boys played with toy bows and arrows. As technology advanced, toys become more complex. At the same time, since cognitive behaviorists recognized the importance of incorporating play in the development of the child, toys were created to encourage creativity among children. Some examples are Lego blocks popularized in the 80s and Play-Doh.

Today’s generation saw the development of high-tech toys such as moving toy vehicles, animated and talking version of dolls and action figures. There are toys that also encourage physical activities among children such as hula hoops, balls, jump ropes, and Frisbees. Who could ignore the ubiquitous development of video games? Nintendo introduced the first home video game in 1983.

Freaky Flickers is the toy for the current generation because it combines the concept of dolls or action figures with active play. More than dolls or action figures of past generations, children are excited over Freaky Flickers because of its trend setting design and color. Freaky Flickers replaces the marbles and colored pebbles usually found in children’s pockets of past generations. The small, handy and creative pieces fit any child’s pockets. Children can take them anywhere, anytime. Freaky Flickers also encourage active play among children. Children can flick, throw or simply watch the wacky wobbles of these toys across the ground. The children can also use the pieces to organize a race.

Freaky Flickers also encourage children’s cognitive and behavioral development. Parents and teachers can use them as tools to teach children. All they have to do is use a little imagination and creativity. Chasing Freaky Flickers flung across the room develop children’s locomotors and discourage passive play. Those quirky little things are things to watch and chase, as they fly across the pavement. Children can’t resist a play of dare when it comes to who’s got the best performing Freaky Flickers character. Children also may swap stories and regale each other with the feats of their personal favorites.

Freaky Flickers is the toy of this generation. Children will experience both active play and learning at the same time while playing with them. Not only will children develop their cognitive and motor skills, they also learn how to socialize with others. For parents who are particularly choosy on what toys to buy their children, Freaky Flickers is easy on the pocket and child-safe.

Its fun to flick’em! Bounce’em! And Collect ‘em! Especially when you start to think up your own game rules. Here are a few things you should know about Freaky Flickers if you are thinking of making up your own games: . Before you start, decide if you want to play for “keeps” or not. You don’t have to play “for keeps”, but if you do, be prepared to lose some prized Flickers.

. You must decide who will throw the first Flicker.

. Look at your trading cards to see when you should play each flicker, to it’s best advantage.

. Decide if the winner will be the one who collects the most Freaky Flickers or the one who picks up the most points from the trading cards.

. You can make up your own teams of Freaky Flickers, depending on their flickability. Or play with the original teams they come in. See pages 8-27 for team members.

. Every time you play a Freaky flicker game, you should appoint a referee to add up your points. This will make sure the game is fair and fun!

Freaky Flickers BATTLECARDS!

For the first time in the history of CRAZES you can really pump up your gameplay  a notch with the unique Freaky Flickers BATTLECARDS!

Battlecards are not just any old trading cards- they are a miniature world of information and fun that will tell you tons about the Freaky Flicker that it relates to; its strengths and weaknesses, its level of rarity, how many hit points it has and much, much more.

Best of all, Battlecards can be used in gameplay to enhance playability and to add that special element of surprise. If you get your tactics right you will find that Battlecards will significantly increase your chances of winning. But beware! Sometimes all that glitters is not gold, and if you play your cards at the wrong time you could find your opponents are the ones who walk away with the best advantage.

Battlecards

Names The 40 whacky names and personalities of Freaky Flickers would be hard to remember if you didn’t collect all 40 Flickers Battlecards. But with these cards you not only learn the names of your favourite flickers.but also what TEAM they belong to.

Tip: Keep your cards in good order and keep teams together- that way you will always know where to locate them if you need vital gameplay info quickly.

Hit Points One of the most vital elements of gameplay are your Hit Points. Generally, the higher your Flicker’s HP the more points you will score during a game, and therefore the higher your chances of winning. See game details on how to get BONUS HP’s during a game.

Tip: Never choose what Flicker to play with just on its HP value alone. There are so many other factors that make a good Flicker that a high HP Flicker might not always be best for the particular game you are playing.

Power There are 5 different types of GEAR in Freaky Flickers, and these will give Flickers a natural ability to SLIDE, BLOCK, BOMB, SPIN or ROCK. But a Flicker’s POWER FACTOR can also effect the way it moves. Its POWER RATING tells you how good that Flicker is at each type of Flicking.

Tip: Power Factors vary between flickers with the same GEAR, so don’t just assume that any Flicker with a BOMBING gear will have good bombing power.

Gameplay Of all the information on the Battlecard, perhaps the Gameplay Text is the most fun if you really want to improve your chances of winning specific games. There are specific rules as to when you can play Battlecards during a game and some games have restrictions on the number of  cards you can play for each round ( see individual games for details). In general, if you play a Battlecard during your turn it should help you to win more points or to stop your opponents from winning points. The timing and tactics you use are crucial in maximising your chances of winning the round, so study the gameplay text carefully to ensure you are getting maximum value from your Battlecard.

Tip: For the ultimate in tactical advantage use the gameplay text element of Battlecards in conjunction with the team advantages you get when you play specific team games e.g. when  you use the Squawkers in the Squawkers’ Flying Hunter game.

Anatomy of a, Flicker name, Team name, Hit point Value, Power factor, Power rating, Rarity Factor, Gameplay Text, Card Number

Rules for Battlecard Gameplay:

  1. You may only use the number of Battlecards specified in the individual game rules for that game.
  2. There are NO restrictions as to what particular Battlecards you can play in any particular game.
  3. If a Battlecard effect conflicts with a TEAM BONUS effect, the Battlecard effect is used.
  4. There are 3 ways to choose which Battlecards you can use for a game. All players must stick to one of the following ways:

5. SELECTA-where you choose your own cards before the start of the game.  You can only use these cards for the entire game.

ii)BLIND MAN’S BLUFF-where your opponent randomly chooses your cards from your deck. You can only use these cards for the entire game.

iii) STRATEGY RULES-where you can choose any card from your entire deck at any time.

BEWARE!

The battlecards you use could be won by your opponents if you do not win the game!
